Panel 08 - Joshua's men spare Rahab and her family from the destruction of Jericho (Jos 6:23)
A figure in a long white dress emerges from a doorway to the right, hands raised in supplication towards a group of men on the left, one of whom stretches out an arm, perhaps to restrain his companion. Crenellations on the left denoting a walled city. Somewhat out of position, this appears to show the fulfillment of the Israelites' promise to Rahab the harlot that she and her family would be spared from the general slaughter when they took Jericho.
