Panel 11 - The Gibeonites setting out to deceive the Israelites (Jos 9:4-5)
Although it is too badly damaged to be certain, this may well be the scene of the ambassadors from the city of Gibeon setting out in old clothes and ragged luggage in the hope of persuading their new neighbours that they actually came from far away. Their aim was to trick Joshua into making a peace treaty with them - instead of becoming his next conquest.
