Overview:

I first photographed Poitiers Cathedral in September 2006 when I was still very new to the art of stained glass photography and lacked the necessary long lenses. The results were generally disappointing, which led me to try again in March 2009. Although the relatively poor condition of the glass at Poitiers means that photography will always be difficult, results this time were much better.

The Gertrude and Robert Metcalf archive at Princeton also has a number of images of these windows but it isn't very easy to navigate and the Poitiers entries use an archaic window numbering system - I will try to add a concordance between the CVMA and earlier numberings when I get time.
